I'm Amanda, a Kansas City photographer drawn to the real moments: the unplanned laugh, the quiet glance, the way your people naturally fit together. I love the candid side of photography just as much as the artsy side: creating something imaginative without losing what makes it true to you.

After a traumatic accident in 2023, I became deaf. My life changed, but my love for being behind the camera did not. I kept going, kept learning, and built Amanda's Photo in 2024 from a deeply personal understanding of how meaningful it is to preserve the moments that shape us.

I communicate best by email and bring a trusted friend and interpreter to sessions when needed. Together, we create an experience that feels easy, thoughtful, and uniquely yours, so you feel cared for from our first conversation through your finished gallery.

You don't need to perform for the camera. You only need to be present.
